As a photographer and hobbyist archaeologist\, Mr. Chervinko has visited and captured many of the most beautiful historical sites in the region. \nSpeaker Mike Chervinko from Carbondale will discuss the prehistoric activity in our area’s past with specific emphasis on petroglyphs. Mike is an RN with a passion for\nphotography and archaeology. He has published two books and has done work for the State of Illinois. He has successfully gained access to public and private properties in\nSouthern Illinois and Southeast Missouri to view and capture the petroglyph work of the indigenous peoples of our area. Come see the results of his most interesting work and\nbe ready to be amazed.
