Piney Creek Petroglyph Hike with Mike Chervinko

Photographer and hobbyist archaeologist, Mike Chervinko will be our guide to the petroglyphs at Piney Creek Ravine.
This event is very weather dependent and is tentatively scheduled for January 18th. We will meet at noon at Piney Creek Ravine. We need clear skies to view the rock art. We will post on our FB if the date changes or is cancelled, or you can sign up below to receive an email. Please be advised this can be a difficult hike.
Length: 2.25 mile loop
Difficulty: 3.5 out of 5. Several elevation changes up and down the bluffs. Several areas can be muddy. Creek crossings are extremely slick, use caution. Several stream crossings could involve wet feet if the water is flowing high.
Things to know: No restrooms at trailhead. Leashed dogs allowed. No collecting of artifacts, carving, or otherwise defacing the rock art.
