The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on April 23rd. While school age kids cannot donate blood, they can still learn about it and why it’s so important. We’ll learn about the different blood types, how they are genetically determined, and do a sample activity (with FAKE blood) about how to figure out a blood type.
Recommended for ages 8+. Prize drawing for those whose accompanying adult signs up to donate blood on the 23rd! Register below for the activity or contact the library for assistance.
